Our Health Standards
HLVd testing commitment, pest inspection, powdery mildew prevention, and root-health checks — the health standards behind every Healthy Cannabis Clones order.
At Healthy Cannabis Clones, the Clean Plant Guarantee is our health-first promise for rooted starting material. It is not a vague marketing slogan — it describes the plant-health standards we apply before clones are packed and shipped to growers across Canada.
We focus on three priorities growers care about most: HLVd testing commitment, pest inspection and prevention, and powdery mildew vigilance. Every commercial page on this site points back to these standards so you can shop with clearer expectations.
Hop latent viroid (HLVd) is a major concern for modern cannabis gardens because it can reduce vigour and yield over time. Our Clean Plant Guarantee includes an HLVd testing commitment for mother stock used to produce the clones we sell.
For details on timing, monitoring, and how testing supports cleaner starts, read HLVd-Tested Clones and Our Testing Process.
Clean starts help reduce the chance of bringing mites, thrips, or other common pests into a finished grow room. Our process includes visual plant inspection and sanitation practices designed to keep mother areas and cutting workflows cleaner.

Powdery mildew pressure can ruin otherwise strong genetics. We monitor plants for early signs of PM and maintain sanitation routines that support drier, cleaner leaf surfaces before shipping.
Customers receive rooted clones — not unrooted cuttings. Healthy white-to-cream root development, stable stems, and plants that are ready to transplant after a short acclimation period are part of what “healthy” means here.
Strong clones begin with maintained mother plants. We prioritize sanitation, monitoring, and cutting discipline so each order starts from stock selected for health as well as genetics.
Before packing, plants are reviewed for overall vigour, root condition, visible pest issues, and general ship-readiness. Only plants that meet our pre-ship checklist move into packaging.
Unpack promptly, inspect roots and foliage, and follow the acclimation steps on After Your Clones Arrive. If something looks wrong on arrival, contact us with photos so we can help quickly.
