Our Health Standards
How we monitor mothers, inspect plants, test for HLVd, and check pest and powdery mildew risk before healthy rooted clones ship.
Our testing and inspection workflow starts with the mothers. We monitor stock for vigour, stress signals, and anything that could affect cutting quality before clones are taken for orders.
Each production cycle includes hands-on plant inspection. We look at leaf condition, stem strength, canopy cleanliness, and overall readiness so weak or questionable plants are not packed for shipping.
HLVd testing is part of how we protect starting material quality. We test mother stock on a scheduled cadence and use those results to guide which plants remain in production.
We only describe practices we actually run — no inflated lab claims. For grower-facing detail, see HLVd-Tested Clones.
Cutting tools, trays, and work surfaces are cleaned as part of routine production. Sanitation reduces the chance of moving pests or pathogens between plants during clone preparation.
When a plant raises a concern, it is separated from active shipping stock. Isolation helps protect clean mothers and keeps questionable material out of customer orders.
We watch for common cannabis pests such as mites and thrips during mother care and pre-ship inspection. Early detection is far cheaper than fighting an infestation after transplant.
PM prevention combines environmental awareness, inspection, and sanitation. Plants showing concerning symptoms are held back from shipment.
Because we ship rooted clones, root inspection matters. We check that roots are established enough to travel and recover after delivery.
The last checkpoint confirms the plant is labeled correctly, packed securely, and ready for courier transit across Canada.
